Qualifikationen

• Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der technischen Projektkoordination.
• Fließend in Japanisch, Englisch und Deutsch mit technischem Vokabular.

We are looking for a Project Coordinator – Power Cable & Energy Sector (m/f/d) to join our Energy Innovation Dept. team in the Innovation Division.

Type of contract: Permanent

Place of work: Wiesbaden

The person will manage and facilitate collaboration between our R&D team, TSOs (Transmission System Operators), DSOs (Distribution System Operators), and universities. This role requires a candidate with strong technical expertise in electricity, power transmission or renewable energy and excellent multilingual communication skills.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between internal teams and external partners, ensuring smooth project execution, clear technical communication, and effective coordination of research and development initiatives.

Depending on the expertise and experience, the position shall be filled with a Project Coordinator or Assistant Manager.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and manage R&D projects related to power cables, transformers or electricity systems.
2. Facilitate communication between our company, TSOs, DSOs, and universities, ensuring smooth project execution.
3. Translate and interpret technical discussions in Japanese, English, and German, ensuring accurate communication of complex electrical concepts.
4. Ensure technical alignment between project stakeholders, resolving issues related to power transmission, grid infrastructure, and system integration.
5. Support documentation and reporting for project progress, technical specifications and research findings.
6. Monitor industry trends in power transmission, electrical infrastructure, and energy policies to support strategic decision-making.

Skills And Experience

1. Education: Master’s degree or higher (Doctorate preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in technical project coordination, power transmission, or energy-related fields.
3. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of power cables, transformers, electricity transmission, grid systems, or renewable energy technologies.
4. Strong Project Coordination Skills and experience in managing cross-border collaborations between R&D teams, industry stakeholders, and academic institutions.
5. Language Skills: Fluent in Japanese, English and German (technical electrical terminology in German).
6. Experience working with TSOs, DSOs, or academic research institutions desirable.
7. Knowledge of power grid infrastructure, HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) systems, and smart grids is an advantage.
8. Familiarity with technical standards and regulations in the electricity industry a plus.
