Contact PERSONAL: Viktoria Schneider
The Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU) is the scientific center of Schleswig-Holstein. More than 2,000 academics and around 450 professorships educate around 25,000 students. In total, the CAU employs around 3,900 staff and is one of the largest employers in the region.
In the Institute of Computer Science, Didactics of Computer Science working group at Kiel University, the position of Project Coordinator* in the project In2MINT - Digital gateways to technical studies is to be filled for a limited period until 30.06.2029 (end of project).
The regular weekly working time is 60% of a full-time position (currently 23.22 hours per week). The salary is paid up to pay group 13 TV-L if the requirements under collective bargaining law are met.
The Faculty of Engineering at the CAU will become a learning location within the Digital Learning Campus. This place of learning should be characterized by multidisciplinarity and interactivity and introduce people to technical studies. To this end, we want to offer project days and project weeks, summer and winter schools, especially for schoolgirls. Topics from computer science, materials science and electrical engineering are to be considered together on a large scale and worked on on a small scale. In order to bring together and network the three subject areas, you come into play: it is your commitment that brings teachers together and takes projects from idea to implementation. You have well-equipped laboratories at your disposal, including eight 3D printers, which will be procured and used intensively as part of the project. They awaken the fascination of the participants in the project work and inspire them to experiment and engage in research activities. You will be supported by colleagues from the various subject areas, some of whom already have extensive experience in project work with pupils. This means you are not starting from scratch and have the opportunity to contribute a wide range of ideas and concepts.
The 60% position can be arranged flexibly so that your work with us can be easily combined with a part-time job, parenting or care work.
Kiel University sees itself as a modern and open-minded employer. We welcome your application regardless of your age, gender, cultural and social background, religion, ideology, disability or sexual identity. We promote gender equality. Women will be given priority if they are equally suitable, qualified and professionally capable.
