Project Controls Manager (m/f/d) - Construction Projects

As an experienced Project Controls Professional, you will establish processes, templates, and tools, set the baseline for cost and schedule, monitor performance, and incorporate risks, opportunities, and changes in a controlled manner. Your responsibilities include:

1. Identifying trends and root causes of deviations, recommending remedial actions to ensure value for the client.
2. Evaluating the project's time, cost, and quality targets, applying governance controls for successful delivery.
3. Acting as the primary contact for the client, addressing delivery and commercial issues, and preparing reports on time, cost, and quality.
4. Controlling costs through conceptual estimating, funding stage gates, contingency principles, and procurement principles.
5. Creating or working within cost reports and summarizing financials in an executive dashboard.
6. Understanding and leading change management processes, workflows, and tracking systems.
7. Leading planning sessions to develop the master schedule, establish baselines, and define the critical path.
8. Managing procurement schedules, lead times, and prioritization of materials and equipment.
9. Collaborating with clients and vendors to align schedule requirements.
10. Monitoring project changes, updating schedules, and communicating these to the team for approval.
11. Ensuring vendors provide timely schedule updates and adhere to quality expectations.

Minimum qualifications include:

• A university degree in a construction-related discipline.
• Proven experience in project controls coordination on large-scale, complex construction projects, such as data centers or pharmaceutical facilities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong commitment to high-quality service and results.
• Reliability and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent time and cost management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset, and passion for delivering value.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is highly desirable.
