Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Project Controller to support the Secure Communications Finance team in Munich. You will handle financial project management, controlling, bid costing, and price audits while collaborating across a matrix organisation with stakeholders.

Fluency in German and English is required, and prior SAP CO/FI experience will be leveraged to drive accurate budgeting, invoicing, and risk mitigation. This role offers growth within a global, diverse environment.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Management or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in Finance and (Project-) Controlling.
• Experience with SAP CO/FI.
• Ability to work in a matrix organisation with strong stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Financial project management from setup to invoicing and cash flow.
• Project controlling: budget allocation, deviation analysis, mitigation, risks and opportunities.
• Bid costing and pricing per German regulations.
• Manage internal work orders and approve purchase requests.
• Prepare price audits and provide support.
• Coordinate internal and external team members.

In order to support our Secure Communications Project Controlling Team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Project Controller (d/f/m)

Your role will be within the German Secure Communications Finance team. As part of the Connected Intelligence Business Unit, we provide our German customer with secure satellite communication systems and services. You will work with the project team and be embedded in the Finance community.

In this role you will be covering the project controlling of some Space Digital German, which are a key cornerstone of our business, and also financially supporting the bid activities in this area. With your work, you will actively contribute to the success of our business today and in the future.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Financial project management, from project set up to customer invoicing and cash management
• Project controlling including budget allocation, deviation analysis, mitigation actions, risk and opportunity management
• Bid costing and Pricing (acc. German Pricing Regulations)
• Management of internal work orders and approval of purchase requests
• Price audit preparation and support
• Coordination of internal & external team members

Desired skills and qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business Management or equivalent
• Long years of experience in activities which have allowed you to acquire sound skills and knowledge of Finance and (Project-)Controlling
• Experience with SAP (CO/FI)
• Experience of working in a matrix environment with proven record of successful stakeholder management
• Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
• Excellent skills in relationship building, team building, collaborate across functions, empowering, motivating others and conflict management
• A high level of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, conflict management skills, persistence, and assertiveness
• Fluent in German and English
