Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Germany is looking for a Junior Project Controller to support the Secure Communications Project Controlling Team. The role involves financial project management from setup to invoicing and cash management.

You'll contribute to project controlling, budget allocation, risk mitigation and pricing under German regulations, coordinating internal and external teams in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Management or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in Finance and (Project-)Controlling.
• First experience with SAP CO/FI.
• Experience working in a matrix environment with stakeholder management.
• A high level of self-awareness and assertiveness.

Responsibilities

• Financial project management from project setup to customer invoicing and cash management.
• Project controlling including budget allocation, deviation analysis, mitigation actions, risk and opportunity management.
• Bid costing and pricing according to German regulations.
• Management of internal work orders and approval of purchase requests.
• Price audit preparation and support.
• Coordination of internal and external team members.

In order to support our Secure Communications Project Controlling Team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Junior Project Controller (d/f/m). Desired skills and qualifications

• Several years of experience in activities which have allowed you to acquire sound skills and knowledge of Finance and (Project-)Controlling
• First Experience with SAP (CO/FI)
• First Experience of working in a matrix environment with proven record of successful stakeholder management
• Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
• Excellent skills in relationship building, team building, collaborate across functions, empowering, motivating others and conflict management
• A high level of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, conflict management skills, persistence, and assertiveness
• Fluent in German and English mandatory
