Job summary

Advantest Europe GmbH in Böblingen sucht einen Project Buyer / Product Sourcing Manager (m/f/d). Sie steuern strategisch und operativ den Einkauf im gesamten Produktentwicklungsprozess – vom Konzept bis zur Markteinführung – in Zusammenarbeit mit F&E, Produktengineering und Projektmanagement.

Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehören die Leitung des NPI-Prozesses, Umsetzung von Lieferkettenstrategien, Kostenkontrolle und Risikomanagement sowie die Koordination interdisziplinärer Teams. Reisen ca. 25% vorgesehen.

Qualifications

• Universitätsabschluss in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik oder BWL mit technischem Bezug.
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in strategischer Beschaffung, Projektkauf oder Supply-Chain-Management.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse der Elektronikfertigung; Erfahrung mit V93000-Testern oder RF-Technologie wird begrüßt.
• Versiert im Einsatz von ERP- und Planungs­systemen (z. B. SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis Maestro).
• Erfahrung in Kostenmanagement, Kostenstrukturanalyse und Lieferantenentwicklung.
• Ausgeprägte Projektmanagementfähigkeiten bei komplexen Projekten.
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse; Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.
• Eigenständige, strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise.
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, Teamgeist und interkulturelle Kompetenz.
• Reisebereitschaft ca. 25%.

Responsibilities

• Steuerung des New Product Introduction (NPI) Prozesses im Einkauf.
• Unterstützung der Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Lieferkettenstrategien im NPI.
• Sicherstellung von Kosteneffizienz und termingerechter Verfügbarkeit.
• Unterstützung technischer Kollegen bei kommerziellen Aspekten der Qualität.
• Durchführung proaktiver Risikoanalysen und -minderung in der Lieferkette.
• Koordination und Leitung interdisziplinärer Projektteams.
• Kommunikation mit internen Stakeholdern und externen Lieferanten.

Aufgabe

As a Product Sourcing Manager at Advantest, you play a central role at the interface between Procurement, R&D, Product Engineering, and Project Management. You are responsible for both the strategic and operational sourcing throughout the entire product development process - from the initial concept to market introduction. Your key responsibilities include: Managing the New Product Introduction (NPI) process within Procurement, from the first prototypes to series production, including active ramp-up management during the market launch phase Support the further development and ensure implementation of our supply chain strategies in NPI projects Ensuring cost efficiency and on-time availability throughout the product development and introduction process and support our technical colleagues on the commercial aspects of quality of our products Conducting proactive risk analysis and mitigation within the supply chain Coordinating and leading interdisciplinary project teams Communicating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across all organizational levels

Qualifikation

University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration with a strong technical affinity Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, project purchasing, or supply chain management Solid knowledge of electronics manufacturing; experience with V93000 testers or RF technology is highly welcome Proficient in using ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis Maestro) Experience in cost management, cost structure analysis, and supplier development Strong project management skills and experience in managing complex projects Excellent English skills (spoken and written); good German skills are beneficial Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style Strong communication skills, team spirit, and intercultural competence Willingness to travel approx. 25%
