Job summary

RAPA SE is seeking an experienced procurement professional in Selb, Germany to join our purchasing department. You will support development projects as part of the core team and take responsibility for material costs and deadlines related to the project’s procurement volume.

The ideal candidate holds a technical or business degree with a technical component, has automotive procurement experience, and can communicate well with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Completed technical or business degree with a technical component.
• Preferably professional experience in automotive procurement.
• Knowledge of purchasing parts based on drawings.
• Experience in project management.
• Ability to communicate in a results-oriented manner with a high degree of goal achievement.
• Very good written and spoken German and English.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Supporting development projects as a member of the core team.

• Preparing, negotiating, and finalizing framework and multi-year pricing agreements.
• Developing and implementing cost-reduction opportunities and procurement strategies within the project team.
