Job summary

RAPA is seeking a Digitalization and Project Buyer (m/f/d) in Selb, Germany. You will analyze, digitize and optimize procurement processes, manage digitization projects and develop workflows including AI-powered applications.

You will use data analytics to increase transparency and procurement performance, support client projects as a core team member, and liaise with international locations, R&D, manufacturing specialists and suppliers.

Qualifications

A degree in engineering, business, or business informatics.
Several years of professional experience in automotive procurement, supply chain management, or the field of digitalization.
Analytical thinking and a structured, independent approach to work.
Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Analysis, Optimization, and Digitization of Procurement Processes
Management and implementation of digitization processes within procurement
Development of workflows and integration of new technologies, including AI-powered applications
Use of data analytics to increase transparency and procurement performance
Supporting client projects as a member of the core team
Identifying and implementing cost‑reduction opportunities and procurement strategies within the project team (in line with the procurement strategy)
Serving as a liaison with procurement organizations at international locations, R&D, manufacturing specialists, and suppliers
