Your mission
The Partnerships & Development directorate serves as the central coordination office for the acquisition, support, and further development of partnerships for the Munich Security Conference. It is also responsible for the conception and execution of the side events of the Munich Security Conference.
Your tasks:
- Managing and coordinating the MSC’s partnerships
- Acting as the primary point of contact for high-level representatives and stakeholders of partner organizations
- Independently organizing and implementing side events in the context of the Munich Security Conference 2026
- Performing general administrative tasks and supporting event planning and execution
- Supporting strategic processes, such as identifying relevant side event topics, internal evaluation, and data and process management
Your profile
- Strong interest in international affairs and security policy, with a solid understanding of current global affairs, and the willingness to help shape current debates
- Experience in key account, project, and/or event management
- Experience in working with external organizations
- Familiarity with managing financial supporters (fundraising)
- Organizational and improvisational skills as well as creative problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a team-oriented mindset
- High degree of responsibility and independence
- Very high level of resilience, teamwork skills, and reliability
- Fluency in German and excellent English skills, both written and spoken, proven by an appropriate certificate
- Previous experience working in an international context
- Good knowledge of MS Office and tools for collaborative work

Further information:
- Location: Munich or Berlin
- Hybrid work and working from homee are generally supported. It is required to be present in Munich for at least two weeks in February 2025. In addition, a regular presence in one of the two offices (Munich or Berlin) is expected to ensure frequent exchange with the team. The onboarding will also take place in person in Munich (expected dates: October 15 - 17, 2025).
