We are looking for a

Program Manager - Social Impact Projects
(m/f/x, part-time 20 h/week, fixed-term contract for 2 years, to start as soon as possible)

The post-holder will focus on four distinct program areas, working in conjunction with existing degree program managers, donors, partner organizations, accounting team, and directly with students themselves:

Your main tasks will be

  • Responsible Leaders Fellowship management (MSc and MBA programs)
    • Liaising with existing and potential project partners, and maintaining a project database.
    • Presenting the program and potential project opportunities to students.
    • Selecting, ranking and approving Fellowship requests, and coordinating funding requests with ESMT's Circle of Friends (Freunde und Förderer).
    • Oversee the full fellowship cycle-from design and implementation to reporting-including student consultation hours, monthly check-ins, and follow-up assessments.
    • Donor stewardship and reporting to funders; managing the reimbursement process for Fellows.
  • Support of the curricular Social Impact Projects (SIP) in the Master in Global Management
    • Preparation of funding requests to donors, and facilitating payment allocations from donors to participating teams.
    • Working with external bodies to identify and secure new opportunities.
    • Securing project proposals for students and facilitate matching between students and partner organizations.
    • Facilitate the implementation of workshops and learning sessions on the grounds to enhance students' skills for successful project design and delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Liaise with partner organizations (e.g., BMW, UNDP) to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
    • Manage stakeholder relationships, including companies, sponsors, and partners, to foster long-term engagement and strategic collaboration opportunities.
    • Conduct funding acquisition and project scouting, complemented by targeted research aligned with Social Impact Program goals.
  • Donor Management and Reporting for Social Impact Programs
    • Manage the relationship between Friends of ESMT and the Programs team, including participation in board meetings to present updates on funded initiatives.
    • Prepare and deliver annual and quarterly project reports, highlighting progress, impact, and key milestones.
    • Compile detailed financial reports on spending and fund allocation.
