What You Will Do:

• Manage microphone product development projects for German OEM automotive applications, including creating and maintaining project plans, collaborating with partners, coordinating schedules, resolving problems, and presenting status updates.
• Oversee 4 to 6 microphone programs and cross-functional teams supporting sales and projects for automotive microphones.
• Serve as the primary interface with customers, managing 2 to 4 German or other EU OEM accounts.
• Understand technical details of electrical and mechanical products used in systems.
• Understand and meet customer requirements for development products.
• Establish and manage project budgets.
• Coordinate with Sales, Supplier Engineering, and Design Engineering to set and meet system cost targets.
• Set team goals for timeliness, customer issues, and quality.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and marketing departments.
• Negotiate resource allocations with functional managers.
• Review supplier quotes and participate in supplier reviews and selection.
• Oversee ordering of prototype and production tooling.
• Audit task completion and report deviations from plans.
• Recommend continuous process improvements.

What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• 5+ years experience in program management, sales, quality, design, engineering management, or process engineering.
• Technical knowledge of audio systems and automotive electronics preferred.
• Experience with embedded audio electronics preferred.
• Proficiency with Project Management tools like Jira, ALM, Confluence.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in German and English; knowledge of Italian or French is a plus.
• Willing to travel 10% of the time.
