What You Will Do:

1. Program management of microphone product development for German OEM automotive applications, requiring creation and maintenance of a project plan, collaboration with partners, coordination of schedules, problem resolution and status presentations
2. Manage 4 to 6 microphone programs and cross-functional teams to support sales pursuits and projects for automotive microphones
3. Serve as lead program interface with customer. Responsible for 2 to 4 German OEMs or other EU OEM accounts
4. Understand all of the technical detail of the products used in all systems, both electrical and mechanical
5. Understand requirements and technical solutions for meeting customer requirements for all development products
6. Establish and manage program budget
7. Work with Sales, Supplier Engineering, and Design Engineering to set system cost target. Meet system cost target.
8. Set team goals for timeliness, customer issues, and quality.
9. Interact with other internal functions such as manufacturing, quality, purchasing and marketing.
10. Negotiate resource allocations from functional managers
11. Review selected suppliers and quotes, and participate in supplier reviews/selection as appropriate.
12. Coordinate and oversee ordering of prototype and production tooling
13. Audit task completion. Report major deviations from plan to appropriate management
14. Recommend continuous improvements development process

What You Need:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical
2. 5+ years related experience in program management, sales, quality, design, engineering management, or process engineering, or AME
3. Technical knowledge of Audio systems and Automotive Electronics preferred
4. Understanding of embedded audio electronics preferred
5. Experience with Project Management tools such as Jira, ALM, Confluence
6. PMP certification preferred but not required
7. Strong skills in communication, presentation and problem solving customer and internal
8. Fluent speaking in German and English, basic communication skills in a third language (Italian / French) appreciated
9. Willingness to travel 10% of the time
