The Program Director provides leadership and direction for all aspects of a strategic program and implementation to achieve the target outcomes. This requires working closely with GE Vernova customers to understand and define high-level scope, project plans, and resourcing at all stages of a project or program lifecycle.

Essential Responsibilities
In This Role, You Will
- Accountable for bringing multiple projects in on time and on budget to customer satisfaction.
- Reports on project progress to the Leadership of GE Vernova.
- Drives the GEV team and subcontractors towards customer success.
- Communicates the importance of understanding customer's business strategies to advocate for profitability on behalf of the customer. Actively reviews accounts, meets with customers, observes sales force, etc. Coaches and mentors peers on the relationship between GE solutions and customer value.
- Uncovers and articulates critical success factors necessary for the customer to acquire, implement, and utilize a solution; assists in identifying shortcomings; utilizes GE experts to propose creative solutions; and develops a roadmap for customer success.
- Coaches and mentors others on best practices for project delivery and execution, focusing on tangible and intangible benefits to ensure customer satisfaction.
Technical Expertise
- Prefer experience with Hi-Tech Software companies.
- Experience with CxO level communications and customer relationship development.
- Proven track record in dynamic, high-paced environments.
- Ability to develop new opportunities.
- Experience in software analysis, design, quality assurance, methodologies, and architecture.
- Understanding of new software development practices, languages, and tools.
- Business acumen to understand scope changes from schedule, ROI, and TCO perspectives.
- Formal certification from a project management institute is desirable.
- Experience with electrical utilities is preferred.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a dedicated project management role with responsibility for large-scale IT projects.
- Prefer 10+ years’ experience in industrial software services or product development.
- Willingness to travel.

- Understand final outcomes to guide project aspects.
- Proactively engage with customers to set up core project management elements such as project charter, plan, cost and billing forecast, change management, and governance.
- Interact with governance members, escalate issues, and run regular meetings.
- Develop and implement processes to optimize the use of GE Digital products and meet deployment requirements.
- Establish review processes to support proposed solutions.
- Engage throughout project lifecycle, influencing decisions on architecture, design, and functionality.
- Communicate effectively with peers and team members, supporting pre-sale, consulting, and execution efforts.
- Apply GEV execution methodology and standards.
