Qualifikationen

• Fundierte Erfahrung mit automatisierten und autonomen Fahrzeugen oder mobilen Robotern.
• Mindestens fünf Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung, davon drei Jahre außerhalb des Hochschulsektors.
• Pädagogische Eignung, nachzuweisen durch eine Probevorlesung.

Do you want to use your scientific expertise and professional experience in the field of autonomoussystems to shape teaching in a project-oriented way, to coach students and to actively contribute toapplied science in an innovative and dynamic environment?

Then become part of our young and innovative team and contribute to the further expansion of theinternational the study program at the Lucas Cranach Campus in Kronach and tostrengthening the research area “Mobility” at Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

You have profound experience with automated and autonomous vehicles or mobile robotics andexpertise in one or more of the following disciplines:

• Data Science und Cloud Computing
• Methods for Software development and system integration
• Algorithms for decision making and motion planning
• Safety and Cybersecurity
  

You will contribute your expertise to both Master's and Bachelor's programs, as well as to researchactivities, conducted in English and German at the locations in Kronach and Coburg have a very good knowledge of English and German (C1 level or equivalent).

You also want to teach fundamental courses and participate in the self-administration of the university.Furthermore, you enjoy teaching in an international context and want to contribute to theinternationalization of the department's curricula.

Recruitment requirements

• University degree in automotive engineering, computer science, electrical engineering,mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics or comparable
  
• Pedagogical aptitude; proof of this is to be provided, among other things, through a trial lecture
  
• Special aptitude in scientific work as evidenced by a doctorate or doctoral-appropriate achievements
  
• Special achievements in the implementation and development of academic insights and methods during a minimum of five years of work experience gained after completing your first degree and of which at least three years must have been gained outside of the university sector are a further requirement; if, over a period of at least five years, a considerable portion of your work involved a cooperation between a university and a non-academic employer, this time may be considered to meet the requirements for non-academic work experience in special cases

It is planned to appoint you as a probationary/permanent civil servant if you meet the requirements under civil service law. The successful candidate may be eligible for civil servant status up to the age of 52.
