For the winter term of 2025/26, we are seeking a professor (m/f/d) for Engineering at IU International University, limited to 2 years at our campus in Berlin. The position is full-time (5 days on campus) or part-time (4 days on campus), starting on October 1st, 2025.

• You represent the field of Engineering in teaching and research within the bachelor's degree program and become part of an extensive network in higher education.
• You develop and lead face-to-face lectures on campus and are responsible for the individual supervision of students during exams and thesis preparation.

• You contribute to the creative development of teaching formats within IU’s didactic concept and collaborate with colleagues to enhance these formats.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a university degree in Engineering or a related field with outstanding academic performance and hold a relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D.).
• You possess at least five years of practical work experience, including three years outside academia, and may have initial teaching experience.
• You demonstrate your expertise through publications or projects.
• You are team-oriented, reliable, committed to in-person teaching, and proficient in virtual lectures.
• You reside permanently in Germany.
• You have English skills at C1 level (CEFR).
