Teaching and Research Responsibilities

• Teach in your area of expertise at Bachelor's and Master's levels on the faculty's programs.
• Deliver lectures in both German and English.
• Enhance the faculty's profile through research activities and actively acquire research funding.
• Work independently and be prepared to take responsibility.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering sciences or informatics, preferably computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Doctoral degree in a subject intersecting engineering sciences and informatics.
• Excellent knowledge in informatics and artificial intelligence from a mechatronic perspective, with practical application in engineering sciences.
• Research experience in data science & engineering, AI, machine learning, autonomous systems, cyber-physical systems, IoT, and IoB.
• Experience in developing models and algorithms in AI, especially machine learning, for complex engineering problems and data-based decision-making.
• Proficiency in designing embedded and interconnected systems for complex mechatronic applications.
• Additional experience in Industry 4.0 software structures, cybersecurity, or related fields is advantageous.
• Prioritized experience in microcontroller-based control units, industrial computing, edge computing, or industrial automation and communication systems.
• At least five years of professional experience, including a minimum of five years outside academia.
