Professorship Artificial Intelligence on Campus (m/f/d) in Berlin, Berlin

IU International University is seeking a professor (m/f/d) for the Artificial Intelligence degree program at our Berlin campus, limited to 2 years, starting October 1st, 2025. The position can be full-time (5 days on campus) or part-time (4 days on campus).

Responsibilities

1. Represent the field of Artificial Intelligence in teaching and research within the bachelor's program and be part of a broad academic network.
2. Develop and deliver face-to-face lectures and supervise students during exams and thesis preparations.
3. Teach practice-oriented fundamental knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, including Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
4. Contribute to the development of innovative teaching formats and collaborate with colleagues.

Profile

We seek an expert in Artificial Intelligence with a university degree in the field, a Ph.D., and at least five years of practical experience, including three outside academia. Candidates should demonstrate expertise through publications or projects, be team-oriented, reliable, and proficient in both in-person and virtual teaching. Residency in Germany and English skills at C1 level are required.
