Module responsibility and teaching

• Teaching Gisma Bachelor and Master programmes, including examinations, assessments, and student supervision.
• Participating actively in programme development and quality assurance.
• Creating and adapting teaching and learning materials.
• Initiating, expanding, and maintaining partnerships with industry and research partners.
• Participating in accreditation procedures as needed.
• Engaging in academic administration and committee work.
• Developing a personal research profile, publishing results, and engaging in dissemination activities.
• Participating in student recruitment events.

Your profile

Applicants must meet all requirements according to Section 41 ff of the Brandenburg Higher Education Act (BbgHG). See the following link: §41 ff. BbgHG.

Requirements for professorship include:

• Completed university studies
• Exceptional scientific qualification, demonstrated through an outstanding doctorate and/or significant scientific publications
• At least three years of qualified professional experience in the field, with two years outside of university after earning a master’s degree or equivalent
• Experience in university teaching, including blended and online approaches, with excellent teaching evaluations and pedagogical skills
• High affinity for digitalization topics
• International experience and fluency in English for teaching and research
• Research experience, ideally including securing funding
• Ability to provide innovative research and teaching directions
• Experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes is desirable
