Key Responsibilities

• Manage strategic projects and continuous improvement efforts to transform Schaeffler’s global Supply Chain into a data and systems-driven, robust, and efficient organization.
• Identify business processes suitable for digitization and evaluate improvement potential.
• Address complex supply chain questions with data-driven solutions, including simulation, analytics, machine learning, optimization models, and statistics.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of supply chain management concerning digitalization, technology, and data strategy.
• Implement innovative ideas and demonstrate their value.
• Collaborate closely with IT and business units.
• Monitor emerging methods and technologies in supply chain digitalization.
• Communicate complex issues effectively through convincing presentations.

Qualifications

• (Master’s) degree in business information systems, data science, business mathematics, mathematics, supply chain management, or equivalent.
• Experience and knowledge in supply chain management.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (e.g., Python, R) and SQL.
• Knowledge of data engineering (ETL pipelines, Big Data tools, REST API, cloud services like Azure) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP, S4/Hana, and transport management systems is a plus.
• Ability to synthesize complex issues and drive desired outcomes.
• Enthusiastic team player with a passion for optimizing global supply chains.
• Creative problem-solver with a hands-on mentality.
• Excellent command of English and good knowledge of German.
