Job Description

*Workation: Up to 30 days at a time and 90 days within a year, subject to general conditions in the EU country of residence.

Responsibilities

• Work in an agile DevOps team to develop solutions for traders.
• Analyze use cases, identify requirements, and design secure cloud solutions for in-house applications.
• Participate in all phases of software development, from problem understanding to implementation and support.
• Collaborate with traders and portfolio managers to understand their needs.
• Maintain and develop the architecture and infrastructure components.
• Ensure solutions are maintainable, secure, and user-friendly.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience with document-oriented databases, preferably MongoDB Atlas.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and AWS services such as CloudFormation, ECS, Lambda, and S3.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, automation pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, especially serverless and CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Datadog monitoring and logging.
• Experience in energy trading or similar fields is a plus.
• Strong social skills, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and willing to go the extra mile.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
