Job summary

ARX is seeking a hands-on Production Technician with a focus on electronics to support the assembly, testing, and servicing of our unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs).

You will work with low-voltage 12–48 V systems, wire electrical harnesses, and assist with commissioning, diagnostics, and field tests as part of our deployment team.

Fluent German is required, English is a plus; we offer a competitive package, vacation days, pension contributions, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in electronics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with low-voltage systems (12–48 V).
• Basic understanding of high-voltage systems; certification preferred but not required.
• Structured and proactive approach with a high sense of responsibility.
• Experience in assembly, wiring, or maintenance of complex electronic systems.
• Fluent in German; English a plus.

About the Role

Your main field of work will be within low-voltage and automotive electronics (12–48 V systems), ensuring the reliable electrical integration and operation of our robotic platforms. As part of our growing production team, your role will directly impact the delivery of robust, mission-critical robotic platforms for defense and dual-use applications.

What You’ll Build

• Assemble and wire electronic and electro-mechanical sub-systems (12–48 V DC)
• Manufacture and prepare electrical harnesses, connectors, and assemblies
• Commission and test electrical functions and system interfaces
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults

What You Bring

• Completed vocational training in electronics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Strong hands-on skills and understanding of low-voltage systems (12–48 V)
• Basic understanding of high-voltage systems is appreciated (certification/training preferred but not required)
• Structured and proactive approach with a high sense of responsibility
• Experience in assembly, wiring, or maintenance of complex electronic systems is a plus
• Fluent in German, English a plus
