Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will lead a team in the production of miniature circuit breakers (MCB) and ensure an efficient and continuous production operation while adhering to process workflows, work instructions, work plans, and quality and safety standards.As a Manufacturing Team Leader, you will report to the Production Manager and contribute to the manufacturing of ABB products from individual component parts. You will be responsible for workforce planning, considering deadlines and cost structures to achieve production goals.Your key responsibilities include:Managing a production area within MCB manufacturing and leading a team of approximately 30 employeesConducting capacity planning and resource optimizationIdentifying potential improvements in production processes and equipmentLeading continuous improvement projects (KVP) and workshopsEnsuring a smooth production process by guiding, organizing, and recruiting employees in collaboration with the HR departmentCoaching and motivating team members and fostering their development potential

Qualifications for the role

• Master craftsman, technician, or equivalent further education in a technical field
• Several years of experience in production or production-related areas Experience in leading teams in a production environment
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes and highly automated production lines
• Proven experience with continuous improvement (KVP) projects and Lean Management (e.g., KAIZEN, Lean Six Sigma)
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety, as well as quality standards and requirements (e.g., ISO 9000 - 9004)
• Quick comprehension and resilience combined with a strong ability to work in a team
• Fluent German in spoken and written form, good English skills
• Willingness to work in a shift system
• High level of empathy and assertiveness
• Always trustworthy and authentic
