Summary:

The Plant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the timely and efficient flow of raw materials into quality finished products; ensures that equipment and buildings are maintained and in good repair.

Responsibilities include:

• Observe all Company safety rules and regulations, recognize safety as a top priority, and conduct/participate in regularly scheduled safety meetings with plant staff.
• Maintain efficient and timely flow of all raw materials received and finished products shipped.
• Oversee all aspects of maintenance, preventative maintenance, manage breakdowns and repairs.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts in all areas of responsibility.
• Achieve individual and department targets, goals, and objectives.
• Oversee job performance of production and maintenance, as well as all maintenance of equipment and buildings used in processing raw and finished materials.
• Assist in investigating accidents within jurisdiction and make recommendations to the Plant Safety Committee.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED.
• 3-5 years of prior supervisory experience.
• Minimum 1-year experience as a fabricator, including knowledge of welding and cutting techniques.

Qualifications:

• Technical school certificate or Associate's Degree.
• Labor relations background and leadership experience.
• Good understanding of production maintenance and repair protocols.

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
