DEPARTMENT: Production

Supervise on-site all phases of our Concrete Tower precast plant operations, including production, maintenance, purchasing, expenditures, and our local HR team. Responsible for capital improvements and physical upkeep of the plant. Collaborate closely with suppliers to increase profitability and production under Nordex Standards and Procedures.

TASKS:

  1. Ensure that the supplier or partner manages the production cycle according to established standards, deadlines, and planning, ensuring effective operations and cost control.
  2. Manage and support all local Nordex teams to ensure their success in each area.
  3. Ensure the supply of raw materials for production within Nordex scope, including logistics and purchasing.
  4. Supervise all CT supplier’s material stocks to prevent stock shortages.
  5. Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize resource utilization.
  6. Plan and monitor the factory’s progress, focusing on production improvements and overall growth.
  7. Prepare regular reports on production, maintenance, cost control, and operations; analyze these reports to assess achievement of business objectives and compliance with regulations, and to identify issues.
  8. Develop training, development, and work practice plans for workers.
  9. Manage and coordinate different teams, facilitate meetings with managers from other areas, and develop plans for improvements and innovations.
  10. Coordinate all key deliveries to wind farm locations or storage buffers.
  11. Coordinate actions between Nordex construction department and CT supplier.

YOUR PROFILE:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.C.E).
  2. Experience in construction, wind turbine assembly, and construction activities; knowledge of quality procedures.
  3. Experience in maintenance management programs, environmental, legal, or Occupational Risk Prevention regulations in Precast production is a plus.
  4. Availability to travel frequently, as the position requires being on-site at various project locations.
  5. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  6. Strong business acumen for managing large projects.
  7. Analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  8. Previous experience as a factory coordinator, in the precast sector, renewable energy, or production environments is advantageous.
