DEPARTMENT: Production

Supervise on site, all phases of our Concrete Tower precast plant operations, including production, maintenance, purchasing, expenditures, and our local HR team. They are responsible for the capital improvement and physical upkeep of the plant. They work closely with the supplier to increase profitability and production in the manufacturing plant under Nordex Standards and Procedures.

TASKS:

• Ensure that the supplier or partner oversees the production cycle under the standards, deadlines, and planning established by the company with effective operations and cost factors.
• Manage and support all Nordex local teams to succeed in each area.
• Ensure the supply of raw material for production under Nordex scope, as well as logistics and purchasing areas.
• Supervise all CT Supplier’s material stocks to avoid broken stock.
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Plan follow-up of the factory’s progress, production improvement, and general growth.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports of production, maintenance, cost control, and operations; analyze them to see if business objectives are achieved, if government obligations are met, or identify and resolve any issues.
• Develop training, teaching, development, and work practice plans for workers.
• Manage and coordinate different teams; arrange meetings with managers of other areas of work and develop improvement and innovation plans.
• Coordinate all keystone deliveries to the windfarm location or storage buffer yard.
• Coordinate actions between Nordex construction department and CT supplier.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Civil Engineering - B.C.E
• Experience in Construction, with desirable experience in wind turbine assembly and construction activities. Experience with quality procedures.
• Experience in maintenance management programs will be a plus, as well as knowledge of certain environmental, legal, or Occupational Risk Prevention regulations in Precast production.
• Availability to travel: this position will require being on-site, with location changes to new projects as previous ones are finished.
• Leadership capability to motivate and manage teams.
• Business vision with abilities to manage large projects.
• Analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Previous experience as factory coordinator in the precast sector, renewable energy sector, and production environments will be a plus.
