Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager (m/f/d) for our Minden location, who will take responsibility for the development and optimization of our production processes. In this key position, you will make a significant contribution to the company's success and work closely with relevant departments. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Organizing production and ensuring efficient, timely execution of processes.
2. Ensuring that product quality meets high standards and continuously optimizing manufacturing processes.
3. Planning personnel deployment and overseeing the development of the team.
4. Keeping the budget in check and ensuring that materials are always available.
5. Coordinating the material flow and ensuring compliance with legal and technical requirements.
6. Working closely with departments such as Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing.
7. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental protection regulations in production.
8. Regularly reporting key production metrics to the management team.

Qualifications for the role

• Completed technical studies or a comparable qualification with a strong technical understanding.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position in a production environment.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines, including labor law and occupational safety regulations.
• Business management knowledge and experience in personnel deployment and development.
• Strong leadership skills, assertiveness, and excellent communication and enthusiasm.
• Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to tackle complex challenges.
• Experience in quality inspection and assurance to ensure the highest production standards.
• Proficiency in software programs such as SAP, ERP, PPS systems, and MS Office.
• Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
