Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety-critical software for Aerospace, Defence and Transportation, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our on-site teams in Germany.

Locations include Manching, Finkenwerder, Donauwörth and other sites across Germany. Ready for take-off?

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Initial experience in Manufacturing, Production or Industrial Engineering.
• Good understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• English B2/C1.
• German B2/C1.
• EU citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage manufacturing and work orders.
• Maintain production documentation and material-related data.
• Monitor aircraft progress, inspections and maintenance activities.
• Manage and validate aircraft data in SASPF and OPAL.
• Adapt work orders according to aircraft configuration changes.
• Collaborate closely with shopfloor teams and support functions.
• Support the coordination and reallocation of aircraft parts and components.
