Product Security Engineer (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Product Security Engineer to join our team. The role involves:

1. Specifying high-level product security requirements and breaking them down into sub-requirements and tasks.
2. Identifying and analyzing threats and vulnerabilities, including those in supplier products and software libraries.
3. Coordinating architectural design and reviewing security strategies for various products.
4. Acting as the interface to internal and external stakeholders as the contact person for product (cyber) security.
5. Organizing product certifications with third parties and conducting internal audits.
6. Defining, implementing, and maintaining certification-relevant development processes (SDLC, requirements engineering, test management, verification & validation, ISMS, PSIRT).
7. Supporting security testing activities (SAST, DAST, penetration testing, etc.).

Requirements

1. Several years of experience in product security, ideally in embedded and IoT environments.
2. Deep understanding of security mechanisms and validation of security measures (SBOM, CVE analysis, SAST, DAST, penetration testing, threat modeling, vulnerability/incident management).
3. Degree in computer science, IT security, or equivalent technical background.
4. Fluent in German and good command of English.
5. Basic experience in software development, Agile, CI/CD, and the software development lifecycle.
6. Programming skills in C, Python, Shell.
7. Knowledge of current OT security standards including IEC 62443, EN 18031, ISO/TR 22100-4.
