Product Security Engineer (m/f/d)
We are seeking a Product Security Engineer to join our team. The role involves:
- Specifying high-level product security requirements and breaking them down into sub-requirements and tasks.
- Identifying and analyzing threats and vulnerabilities, including those in supplier products and software libraries.
- Coordinating architectural design and reviewing security strategies for various products.
- Acting as the interface to internal and external stakeholders as the contact person for product (cyber) security.
- Organizing product certifications with third parties and conducting internal audits.
- Defining, implementing, and maintaining certification-relevant development processes (SDLC, requirements engineering, test management, verification & validation, ISMS, PSIRT).
- Supporting security testing activities (SAST, DAST, penetration testing, etc.).
Requirements
- Several years of experience in product security, ideally in embedded and IoT environments.
- Deep understanding of security mechanisms and validation of security measures (SBOM, CVE analysis, SAST, DAST, penetration testing, threat modeling, vulnerability/incident management).
- Degree in computer science, IT security, or equivalent technical background.
- Fluent in German and good command of English.
- Basic experience in software development, Agile, CI/CD, and the software development lifecycle.
- Programming skills in C, Python, Shell.
- Knowledge of current OT security standards including IEC 62443, EN 18031, ISO/TR 22100-4.
