As the Product Owner for Requirements Engineering, you will be the driving force behind our requirements engineering processes. You'll collaborate with dynamic business units, innovative IT teams, and strategic external partners to ensure that requirements are precisely captured, expertly prioritized, and seamlessly implemented to meet our evolving business needs.

- Drive strategic stakeholder engagement to proactively identify, interpret, and anticipate evolving business needs, ensuring long-term alignment with organizational goals
- Define and advocate a cohesive, enterprise-wide vision for the requirements engineering discipline, embedding it as a core pillar of strategic project execution
- Develop and steer a forward-looking product and technology roadmap, ensuring synergy between user needs, market trends, and corporate objectives
- Lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle—from discovery and modeling to validation and implementation—ensuring seamless integration across all strategic initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate project KPIs and performance metrics, using data-driven insights to optimize decision-making and enhance delivery outcomes
- Act as a strategic liaison across cross-functional teams, ensuring transparent communication, stakeholder alignment, and shared understanding of requirements across departments
- Champion Agile best practices at a strategic level, providing leadership in planning, iteration reviews, retrospectives, and continuous process improvement
- Own the strategic prioritization of the product backlog, balancing near-term business impacts with long-term innovation and transformation goals
- Enable enterprise-wide coordination, fostering alignment between business units, IT teams, and external partners to streamline execution and mitigate risks
- Embed excellence and consistency in requirements engineering, leveraging cutting-edge tools, frameworks, and methodologies to drive quality and innovation across deliverables

What you need is:

  • Master´s or Bachelor´s degree (Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering) combined with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience, or a strong track record in a comparable role within a similar development
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-reliantly with a high goal orientation
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within requirements engineering
  • Familiarity with Systems Engineering and knowledge of ASPICE is a plus
  • Strong ability to manage diverse stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills — you're a natural collaborator and team player
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Polarion X or IBM Jazz
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in requirements engineering
  • Proficient in Englisch, German is a plus
