Own and maintain the product vision, roadmap and prioritized backlog for sensor management capabilities.
Translate operational requirements and stakeholder needs into user stories, acceptance criteria and technical deliverables.
Collaborate closely with systems engineers, software developers, system architects and integration specialists.
Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
Ensure requirements traceability, system integration, verification and validation throughout the product lifecycle.
Coordinate technical interfaces between mission systems, sensor‑control functions and ground systems.
Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies and compliance requirements.
Monitor delivery performance through KPIs, quality metrics and progress reporting.
Drive continuous improvement and support the integration of mission‑critical software and hardware capabilities.
Communicate effectively with customers, technical teams and international stakeholders.
Required qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related technical field.
At least 5 years of experience in avionics, sensor‑control systems, autonomous systems or other mission‑critical platforms.
Proven experience as a Product Owner delivering complex hardware or software products.
Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering, including requirements management, system architecture, integration and verification.
Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management and stakeholder coordination.
Experience with sensor technologies such as RADAR, electro‑optical systems, real‑time data acquisition or control loops.
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, IBM DOORS, CAMEO, MATLAB/Simulink and Git.
Familiarity with safety‑critical systems, risk management and requirements traceability.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Fluent English (professional negotiation level).
Nice to have
German language skills.
Experience with Java, Linux, software integration or CI/CD environments.
Knowledge of DO-278C, IEC 61508, MIL‑STD‑882 or ARP4754.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe POPM or equivalent.
Previous experience in aerospace, defence, UAV/UAS or military mission systems.
