Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. Hamburg is seeking a part-time Product Owner (m/f/d) for our HeiSights product at the HafenCity headquarters. You will ensure market requirements align with technical implementation and successful releases while driving value maximization.

You will lead the product vision, analyze requirements from suppliers and the Commercial department, and manage the roadmap and backlog with a focus on delivering business value. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in retail and in project management.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with proven experience leading projects and teams.
• Confident in creating management-ready presentations with facilitation and negotiation skills.
• High level of ownership, self-motivation, quality awareness, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.

Product Owner (m/f/d)

Your new job includes

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for the vision, continuous development, and value maximization of the HeiSights product, ensuring that market requirements, technical implementation, and successful product releases are optimally aligned.

In particular, you will

• further develop the product vision and identify relevant market trends and customer needs to drive the continuous evolution of the product
• analyze requirements from our suppliers and the Commercial department, and take ownership of shaping the product roadmap
• manage the product roadmap while balancing scope, budget, timelines, and dependencies
• define requirements in the form of user stories, epics, and features, and prioritize them in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• continuously maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
• monitor and evaluate product development progress throughout all sprint and development phases
• act as the key interface between stakeholders and the product team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across all parties involved

What you should bring along

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally within the retail industry and in project management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, combined with proven experience leading projects and project teams
• Confident in creating management-ready presentations, with excellent facilitation and negotiation skills across all organizational levels and functional areas
• High level of ownership, self-motivation, quality awareness, and strong problem-solving skills
• Strong technical understanding and excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and Business Warehouse tools; advanced knowledge of AFO, SAC, Jira, and Confluence is considered a plus
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
