As a Product Owner in our Digital Asset Custody product team with a focus on Regulatory Compliance and Tokenized Assets, you will own two strategically important domains within Boerse Stuttgart Digital's custody business. You will lead a dedicated Scrum team from backlog to delivery while driving the strategic roadmap for both domains. If you combine solid knowledge of blockchain technology, tokenized assets and regulation with a passion for building compliant, scalable products — this role is for you.

This position allows for remote work, but we greatly value in-person team interaction. Therefore, we encourage regular attendance for key workshops, special events, and fostering team spirit.

Your Tasks

• Lead & inspire: Guide a cross-functional, fully remote Scrum team of software developers. Take charge of all key agile ceremonies: from Planning and Refinement to Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Own the product: Take end-to-end responsibility for our regulatory transaction monitoring product area, ensuring full implementation of AML and Travel Rule requirements. Work closely with our legal and compliance teams to stay aligned.
• Shape the future: Drive the development of our tokenized assets custody solutions. Turn market insights and client needs into a well-prioritized backlog and a strategic roadmap.
• Collaborate with your stakeholders: Gather, organize, and translate diverse stakeholder requirements into actionable User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Shape our strategy: Play an active role in shaping the product roadmap for Boerse Stuttgart Digital's custody business.

What You Bring to the Table

• Relevant experience: At least 2-3 years of practical experience as a Product Owner within a FinTech or financial institution, ideally focusing on digital assets. You have first-hand experience leading a remote Scrum team and are comfortable using tools like Jira, Confluence, or Monday.com.
• Regulatory know-how: You’re familiar with the regulatory environment surrounding digital assets including Travel Rule, MiCAR, eWpG, DLT Pilot Regime, and MiFID.
• Technical acumen: Strong understanding of blockchain technology and custody solutions, allowing you to collaborate confidently with engineering teams.
• Agile mindset & stakeholder skills: Enjoy a challenge and have a passion for transforming regulatory complexity into tangible product results.
• Languages: Fluency in both English and German (at least C1 level).
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person team sessions and stakeholder meetings.
