Your Future Team As a (senior) backend software engineer (.NET C#), you will be part of the IT Architecture team. The team specializes in setting standards for private and public cloud product architectures, with a strong focus on AWS deployments. We are currently primarily responsible for several central services, such as the data warehouse, as well as for migrating legacy product architectures to an AWS-based environment. You will join us as a software engineer, with your primary focus on adapting solution architectures or capacities where code changes are required; for example, adding metrics to improve observability, resolving technical debt, or reworking services for improved stability or horizontal scalability.

This position allows for remote work, but we greatly value in-person team interaction. Therefore, we encourage regular attendance for key team votes, special events, and fostering team spirit.

Your Tasks

• Agile Collaboration: Work as part of an agile development team and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Backend Engineering (C#/.NET): Develop reliable, readable, and sufficiently documented .NET C# code by leveraging modern coding patterns.
• System Architecture Design: Design system architectures and technical solutions.
• Legacy-to-Cloud Migration: Support the migration of legacy product architectures to an AWS-based environment, especially where code changes are required.
• Secure & Compliant Code Quality: Follow industry security standards, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure secure, compliant, and maintainable code.

What You Bring to the Table

• Professional Experience: Several years of experience with the C# programming language and solid knowledge of the .NET Core / .NET 5+ platform.
• Application Design: Experience in designing, coding, and testing new applications.
• Tech Knowledge: Good knowledge of microservice environments/distributed systems (Kubernetes, Docker), Linux, and relational databases.
• Cloud Skills: Basic proficiency with AWS; expert-level AWS knowledge is a strong plus.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git.
• Interest in Finance & Investing: Interest in the fields of trading, investing, and wealth growth.
• Agile Development Experience: Experience working in agile software development environments.
