We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager Germany & Austria Peripheral (m/f/d), based in Germany, to lead marketing strategies and campaigns within the assigned region. This role involves managing product launches, conducting market research, creating tailored marketing materials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support local sales efforts while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  1. Drive the strategic alignment and commercialization of Penumbra's product portfolio in Germany, while building and elevating the Penumbra brand through dedicated, market-specific campaigns
  2. Supporting management in the development of EMEA annual marketing plans and lead country marketing plan
  3. Regular visits to customers, especially KOLs
  4. For product development, as well as for the development of product strategies with EMEA marketing and global marketing
  5. Planning and executing product launches in close cooperation with the EMEA marketing team and country sales team
  6. Planning and coordinating congresses and medical education in collaboration with EMEA events coordination team
  7. To identify potentials by means of market research, determine needs and wishes of our customers / KOLs, translate these into product strategies and tactics and create all necessary business cases and return-on-investment analyses
  8. Developing recommendations on the type and scope of current and future product lines, reviewing product specifications and requirements and evaluating new product ideas and / or product changes
  9. Assess and identify areas where the sales team may benefit from further development, and work collaboratively with the Sales Manager to implement appropriate training initiatives
  10. To carry out market observations, assess the competition and draw up product comparisons
  11. To lead and support product access negotiations in your country
  12. Nice to have: Experience in working with GPOs, positioning products, pricing and creating strategy
  13. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  14. A minimum of 3 years of experience in product marketing within the medical device industry, with a strong background in peripheral vascular or interventional cardiology therapies
  15. Strong understanding of local healthcare systems and market dynamics
  16. Proven experience in managing product launches and executing marketing strategies
  17. Experience in KOL management
  18. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  19. Analytical mindset with the ability to drive decisions based on data
  20. Project management expertise to lead product launches and ensure timely execution
  21. Adaptability and resilience with the ability to work independently or in teams
  22. Travel requirement up to 50%
