Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager Germany & Austria Peripheral (m/f/d), based in Germany, to lead marketing strategies and campaigns within the region. This involves managing product launches, conducting market research, creating tailored marketing materials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support local sales while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic alignment and commercialization of Penumbra's product portfolio in Germany, enhancing brand visibility through targeted campaigns
  • Support the development of EMEA annual marketing plans and lead country-specific marketing initiatives
  • Conduct regular visits to customers, especially KOLs
  • Collaborate on product development and strategy with EMEA and global marketing teams
  • Plan and execute product launches in coordination with regional teams
  • Organize congresses and medical education events with the EMEA events team
  • Identify market potentials through research, translate needs into strategies, and develop business cases and ROI analyses
  • Review product specifications, evaluate new ideas, and recommend product line adjustments
  • Assess training needs for the sales team and implement development initiatives
  • Monitor market trends, assess competitors, and prepare product comparisons
  • Lead and support product access negotiations in your country

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 3 years of product marketing experience in the medical device industry, preferably in peripheral vascular or interventional cardiology therapies
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems and market dynamics
  • Experience managing product launches and executing marketing strategies
  • Experience in KOL management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Data-driven decision-making mindset
  • Project management skills for timely product launches
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, with adaptability and resilience
  • Travel up to 50%
