We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager Germany & Austria Peripheral (m/f/d), based in Germany, to lead marketing strategies and campaigns within the assigned region. This role involves managing product launches, conducting market research, creating tailored marketing materials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support local sales efforts while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  1. Drive the strategic alignment and commercialization of Penumbra's product portfolio in Germany, while building and elevating the Penumbra brand through dedicated, market-specific campaigns.
  2. Support management in the development of EMEA annual marketing plans and lead the country marketing plan.
  3. Conduct regular visits to customers, especially KOLs.
  4. Collaborate on product development, strategies with EMEA and global marketing teams.
  5. Plan and execute product launches in cooperation with EMEA marketing and sales teams.
  6. Coordinate congresses and medical education events with EMEA events team.
  7. Identify market potentials through research, understand customer and KOL needs, and develop strategies and business cases accordingly.
  8. Review product specifications, evaluate new ideas or changes, and develop recommendations for current and future product lines.
  9. Assess sales team development needs and work with the Sales Manager on training initiatives.
  10. Conduct market observations, analyze competition, and prepare product comparisons.
  11. Lead and support product access negotiations in your country.
  12. Nice to have: Experience with GPOs, product positioning, pricing, and strategy development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in product marketing within the medical device industry, with a strong background in peripheral vascular or interventional cardiology therapies.
  • Strong understanding of local healthcare systems and market dynamics.
  • Proven experience in managing product launches and executing marketing strategies.
  • Experience in KOL management.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative ability.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Adaptability and resilience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
