Position

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager Germany & Austria Peripheral (m/f/d), based in Germany, to lead marketing strategies and campaigns within the region. Responsibilities include managing product launches, conducting market research, creating marketing materials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support local sales while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Align and commercialize Penumbra's product portfolio in Germany, enhancing brand presence through targeted campaigns.
  2. Support the development of annual marketing plans for EMEA and the specific country.
  3. Conduct regular customer visits, especially with KOLs.
  4. Contribute to product development and strategy with EMEA and global marketing teams.
  5. Plan and execute product launches in collaboration with regional teams.
  6. Organize congresses and medical education events with the EMEA events team.
  7. Identify market potentials, gather customer insights, develop strategies, and analyze ROI.
  8. Review product specifications, evaluate new ideas, and develop recommendations.
  9. Assess and support sales team development through training initiatives.
  10. Monitor market trends, assess competition, and prepare product comparisons.
  11. Lead and support product access negotiations in your country.
  12. Nice to have: Experience with GPOs, product positioning, pricing, and strategy development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in product marketing within the medical device industry, especially in peripheral vascular or interventional cardiology.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems and market dynamics.
  • Proven experience in product launches and marketing strategy execution.
  • Experience managing KOLs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to work independently or in teams, with adaptability and resilience.
  • Travel up to 50%.
