Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager Germany & Austria Peripheral (m/f/d), based in Germany, to lead regional marketing strategies and campaigns. Responsibilities include managing product launches, conducting market research, creating marketing materials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support sales while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Align and commercialize Penumbra's product portfolio in Germany, enhancing brand visibility through targeted campaigns.
2. Support management in developing annual marketing plans for EMEA and local strategies.
3. Conduct regular customer visits, especially with KOLs.
4. Contribute to product development and strategic planning with EMEA and global marketing teams.
5. Plan and execute product launches in cooperation with regional teams.
6. Coordinate congresses and medical education events with the EMEA events team.
7. Identify market potentials through research, analyze customer needs, and develop business cases and ROI analyses.
8. Review product specifications and evaluate new product ideas or changes.
9. Work with the Sales Manager to identify training needs and implement development initiatives.
10. Monitor market trends, assess competitors, and prepare product comparisons.
11. Lead and support product access negotiations within Germany.
12. Optional: Experience with GPOs, product positioning, pricing, and strategy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in product marketing within the medical device industry, preferably in peripheral vascular or interventional cardiology therapies.
• Strong understanding of local healthcare systems and market dynamics.
• Proven experience with product launches and marketing strategies.
• Experience managing KOL relationships.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making.
• Project management skills for leading product launches.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, with adaptability and resilience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
