We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager Germany & Austria Peripheral (m/f/d), based in Germany, to lead marketing strategies and campaigns within the assigned region. This role involves managing product launches, conducting market research, creating tailored marketing materials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support local sales efforts while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Drive the strategic alignment and commercialization of Penumbra’s product portfolio in Germany, while building and elevating the Penumbra brand through dedicated, market-specific campaigns.
  • Support management in the development of EMEA annual marketing plans and lead country marketing plan.
  • Regular visits at customers, especially KOLs.
  • For product development, as well as for the development of product strategies with EMEA marketing and Global Marketing.
  • Plan and execute product launches in close cooperation with the EMEA marketing team and Country Sales team.
  • Plan and coordinate congresses and Medical Education in collaboration with EMEA Events coordination team.
  • Identify potentials by means of market research, determine needs and wishes of our customers/KOLs, translate these into product strategies and tactics and create all necessary business cases and return-on-investment analyses.
  • Develop recommendations on the type and scope of current and future product lines, review product specifications and requirements and evaluate new product ideas and/or product changes.
  • Assess and identify areas where the Sales team may benefit from further development, and work collaboratively with the Sales Manager to implement appropriate training initiatives.
  • Carry out market observations, assess the competition and draw up product comparisons.
  • Lead and support product access negotiations in your country.
  • Nice to have: Experience in working with GPOs, positioning products, pricing and creating strategy.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing within the medical device industry, with a strong background in peripheral vascular or interventional cardiology therapies.
  • Strong understanding of local healthcare systems and market dynamics.
  • Proven experience in managing product launches and executing marketing strategies.
  • Experience in KOL management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to drive decisions based on data.
  • Project management expertise to lead product launches and ensure timely execution.
  • Adaptability and resilience with the ability to work independently or in teams.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Travel requirement up to 50%.
