A leading company in semiconductor innovation seeks a Strategic Marketing Manager for its High Performance Power Business Unit. The Opportunity
Allegro Microsystems (ALGM) is looking for a Strategic Marketing Manager (SMM) for High Performance Power (HPP) Business Unit focusing on LED Drivers for Automotive Lighting applications. The ideal candidate has a combination of business experience coupled with a system and applications engineering level understanding of power IC products in these applications.
The SMM will be responsible for roadmap development, go-to-market strategies, business initiatives, and collaterals along with defining the next generation of products and solutions supporting key accounts and broad market customers. The SMM will also act as the "voice of the customer" and a key member or the product development team.
Candidate should have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be highly motivated to drive actions and assignments to closure and drive the business in strategic markets for Lighting products. This role will interact customers on a regular basis and candidate should have a passion for building relationships and develop collaborations with customers, Allegro sales, distribution, and HPP design teams to expand our Market Share and Serviceable Available Market (SAM) and grow revenue.
What You'll Do
• Create, update, and manage LED Driver portfolio strategies worldwide
• Support the Sales team to develop the business at Strategic and Key accounts as well as broad market customers
• Interact with and provide guidance to product and technical teams to create differentiated products and solutions for the Lighting space
• Engage with lead customers to identify system-level requirements for solving real customer problems, formulate partnership strategies and drive deeper technical engagements
• Identify and investigate emerging markets/applications to extend SAM and drive future growth, aligning the highest potential with either available or new technology opportunities as appropriate.
• Produce, track, and promote annual plans based on research, market data and customer inputs
• Create thought leadership content and brand awareness campaigns working with digital marketing team to promote Allegro in the focus market segment
• Focus on execution and results with a high standard for performance
What You Will Need
• Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Master of Business Administration degree desirable but not required
• 5+ years experience in the electronics or semiconductor industries, with experience in Automotive Lighting products.
• Fundamental awareness of best marketing, research, and business planning practices
• Success with data and research driven market strategies
• Knowledge of technology trends and disruptions in technology that impact our customers
• Ability to present and speak in front of Allegro leadership and customer/market audiences
• Experience executing Go-to-Market strategies for new and existing products
• Ability to travel to visit customers in US, Europe and Asia
