Your Tasks

Searched is a Product Manager (m/f/d) to coordinate and own the development of the MMS own Insurance Platform to provide comprehensive visibility and control over the complete insurance process, enhancing operational efficiency and economic performance. The role involves setting up an MMS own policy engine that allows deeper control over product manufacturing, premium collection, and insurance management, aiming to justify MMS commissions and improve commercial outcomes based on claim frequency and related costs derived from software insights. The project requires coordinating all relevant stakeholders involved in insurance operations (internal and external).

  • Coordinate and own the creation of a new platform to provide comprehensive visibility and control over the complete insurance process, collaborating with service fulfillment partners within MediaMarktSaturn.
  • Pilot the new platform in one country, considering local customer needs and legal requirements.
  • Roll out the successful pilot across all countries, taking into account fiscal and legal considerations.
  • Communicate and align with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Prioritize and steer implementation together with a dedicated development team.

Your Profile

  • Degree in business administration, international retail management, or similar education with solid technical qualifications.
  • Knowledge of IT project management and process management, from analysis to process definition and implementation.
  • Experience with modern project management tools (JIRA, Confluence) and expertise in agile product management.
  • Background in customer contract management, preferably in insurance, is a major plus.
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage.
