About the role

You'll own Autopilot, our flagship AI product that transforms unstructured business data into carbon insights using NLP & ML on Climatiq's emissions dataset.

You will report to the CEO and collaborate with the CTO and Product Director to bridge product and technology, working alongside ML engineers, full-stack and data engineers, climate scientists, and carbon accounting experts to drive innovation and execution.

This role involves shaping our AI strategy and evolving ML/NLP models to simplify carbon accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Your work will empower thousands of enterprises to measure, report, and act on emissions effortlessly.

What you'll do

1. Define and own Autopilot's roadmap, aligning development with business goals
2. Set and track product metrics, KPIs, and OKRs to demonstrate impact
3. Partner with Engineering to translate customer insights into measurable improvements
4. Create and maintain clear product documentation and work with Marketing on positioning
5. Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks

What we're looking for

1. 5+ years leading AI/ML or data-driven products from concept to launch (API or dev-tool focus preferred)
2. Deep understanding of ML workflows; Python proficiency is a plus
3. Excellent communication skills to connect with teams and customers
4. Proven ability to build relationships across engineering, sales, and customer success in a fast-paced startup
5. Passion for climate-tech and data-driven sustainability (industry experience is a plus)
6. Optional: eligible to work in Germany

1. Location: Berlin or Remote within +/- 2 hours of CET timezone
