Responsibilities
  • Within our market data systems, manage a homegrown platform for data analytics and Gen AI development, focusing on market data and asset management.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle, including functional and IT upgrades, and ensure secure and stable operation in production, as well as coordinate incident management and root cause analysis for the market data related systems.
  • Manage the financial dimension of the product, including planning and controlling total costs of ownership on a yearly basis, and plan external resources that support the product.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, maintain accurate and up-to-date product documentation, and report IT internally as well as to the client through quarterly service review meetings.
  • Provide coverage during quarterly and year end closings and monitor pre-trading runs/jobs in close coordination with the business to support critical business operations.
  • Will to support the market data application interacting with the data analytical platform is key.
Minimum Requirements
  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in product management, preferably in a regulated industry like insurance and financial services.
  • A solid grasp of investment, asset management, and related financial products.
  • Technical expertise in market data area, related processes, and technical infrastructure, with certifications like ITIL and Scrum, or willingness to obtain them.
  • Proficiency in tools like Azure Data Factory, Datalake, Databricks, Power BI, and scripting languages such as SQL+, R, Python, PowerShell, and C#.

  • Customer-focused, solution-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • Proven experience of working in a scaled/agile team with team members in multiple global locations.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with an excellent ability to prioritize tasks according to KPIs.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, fluency in German is a strong advantage.
