Job Description

Based in Berlin, the Product Manager plays a critical role in developing, managing, and optimizing the product portfolio throughout its lifecycle. This position requires strong technical expertise, critical thinking, and collaboration with various departments, including Industry Management, R&D, Sales, and Controlling. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Develop and maintain the product portfolio throughout the entire product lifecycle in collaboration with the Industry Management, R&D, and Technology teams.
  • Manage product configuration to ensure consistency and efficiency;
  • Calculate product pricing in coordination with Industry Management, Sales, and Controlling teams;
  • Participate in product-related organizational change processes to ensure flawless transitions and improvements;
  • Select and introduce accessory components in collaboration with the Development team;
  • Review and approve sales documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards;
  • Conduct product-specific training for internal teams and external partners;
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of corporate processes to improve efficiency and consistency.

Who You Are:

You are a problem solver with strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. You exhibit a customer-focused approach, outstanding organizational skills, and efficient management of multiple tasks. Your strong communication skills and technical expertise enable you to drive product success and innovation!

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • A successfully completed engineering degree in process engineering, mechanical or plant engineering, engineering sciences, or an equivalent;
  • At least three years of experience in technical product management;
  • Strong social competence, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams;
  • Experience in handling CPQ and PLM software;
  • A customer focused approach with a high degree of self-organization;
  • Very good proficiency in English and German;

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment;
  • A track record of successfully managing product portfolios in a technical setting;
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to product management;
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends and product performance;
