Zusammenfassung

Nikon SLM Solutions AG in Lübeck leads in additive manufacturing with Selective Laser Melting technology. We are seeking a strategic Product Manager to shape the roadmap, be the face of the product to customers, and collaborate across R&D, sales, and marketing.

You will travel to customers, gather requirements, map journeys, translate needs into product specs, and drive launches with cross-functional teams while ensuring milestones, volumes, and costs align with our business goals.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Product Management preferred.
• Deep knowledge of L-PBF technology.
• Strong requirements engineering knowledge.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to move projects forward and meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English communication skills.

• Interface with R&D, BD, Sales and Marketing; drive launches with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare and conduct new product and service training.
• Monitor product performance and define actions.

POSITIONDESCRIPTION:

Develop and execute product strategy in alignment with our vision and business objectives

Be the face of the product towards customers

Travel to customers on demand to gather requirements, understand their needs and ensure roadmap alignment between customers and Nikon SLM

Understand customer processes and map customer journeys, thereby developing value propositions

Translate customer and market needs into product requirements for R&D

Analyze market data and identify relevant market trends

Gather and maintain competitive intelligence

Empower Sales with consultancy around the product portfolio

Develop business plans for new products and drive their implementation in terms of milestones, volumes and costs (management of gates) together with R&D

Define price targets for new products based on input from Sales, Marketing and R&D

Manage the interface with R&D, BD, Sales and Marketing

Drive product launch planning and execution together with Sales & BD, segments and country responsible persons

Prepare and conduct new product and service training

Monitor product performance and quality and define appropriate actions

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or a related field

Experience in Product Management preferred

Deep knowledge of L-PBF technology

Very good knowledge of requirements engineering

Impeccable organizational skills and the ability to keep projects moving and ensure deadlines are met

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

High attention to detail and strong communication skills in English
