Having a rich backlog of interesting ideas, the innovations team in Munich is looking for a :

Product Manager Innovation Projects (m / f / d)

Your main tasks and responsibilities :

1. As a member of the Veridos Innovations Team, you will be responsible for managing innovation projects from ideation, concept development, and validation, including market research, business model, and business case design, as well as internal steering of innovation projects.
2. Management and coordination of work packages in publicly funded innovation projects related to the design and construction of demonstrators for faster person identification at border control using biometric technologies.
3. You will research, explore, and evaluate relevant technologies in domains like digital identity, smartphones and mobile applications, imaging technologies, and create and develop innovation projects based on these.
4. Stay up-to-date with relevant technology trends and support the technology scouting and road-mapping processes at Veridos.
5. Participate in company-wide communities on relevant technology topics and contribute by writing articles and white papers on selected topics.

Your profile :

1. You have a university degree in physics, engineering, computer science, or similar, or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience as a project manager or innovation manager.
3. Good general understanding of technical concepts, software development, and a basic understanding of hardware development (e.g., 3D printing, mechanical engineering).
4. Experience managing projects in a dynamic, innovative environment, with the ability to steer development teams (internal and external).
5. You enjoy learning new things, can plan, structure, and execute innovation projects, and enjoy working in a team.
6. Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technology ideas to non-technical people and senior management.
7. You are motivated, independent, and thrive in a multi-cultural, cross-disciplinary team.
8. You are fluent in English (written and spoken).
