Your mission

As Product Manager at 1KOMMA5°, you play a pivotal role in a visionary and dynamic group committed to revolutionizing the global energy sector. You will join our Virtual Assembly Line - Fulfillment team to help installation businesses scale home electrification fulfillment. Your goal is to create intuitive solutions to reduce operational fulfillment costs, covering planning, execution, documentation, and logistics management for installations.

As a Product Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Product Ownership: Lead the product lifecycle of a value stream within the Virtual Assembly Line. Define the product roadmap based on outcomes and manage initiatives with data-backed rationale.
  • Customer Discovery: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify opportunities to reduce fulfillment costs.
  • Metrics & KPIs: Define, own, and analyze KPIs to ensure the highest impact in reducing costs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations and requirements of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and high quality. Engage with C-Level stakeholders in Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Lead engineers and designers in cross-functional projects, fostering collaboration among developers, product managers, Operations, Finance, BI teams, and external partners.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on emerging trends in technology and AI, especially their application in construction and energy sectors. Translate insights into innovative product opportunities for home electrification.

Your profile

We are looking for:

  • Experience: 3+ years in product management, preferably in renewable energy, construction, or related sectors.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong skills in market analysis, competitor research, and tech/AI trend identification; data-driven decision-making and basic business modeling understanding.
  • Tools & Methods: Proficiency with Linear, Figma, Miro, Notion, BI tools (e.g., Looker); familiarity with ShapeUp, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and foster collaboration.
  • Customer Focus: Deep user empathy and passion for creating outstanding experiences supporting the energy transition.
  • Communication & Travel: Excellent English and German skills; willingness to travel to offices in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, and other markets.
