About the Role

CEPRES provides innovative software solutions for investors in the private equity space. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic product team. In this role, you will own the backlog for your product area, contributing to and refining the 12-month roadmap in collaboration with senior product leadership. You will partner with a dedicated design resource to define and refine the user interface and experience, independently run agile ceremonies, and gather actionable feedback from stakeholders. You will also be responsible for triaging product issues, communicating resolution timelines and tradeoffs to client-facing teams, and advocating for your product both internally and externally. This position is ideal for someone with a proven track record in product management within a tech-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the backlog for your product area, ensuring day-to-day tasks align with the long-term vision.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and refine the 12-month roadmap, prioritizing features based on business value, user feedback, and market opportunities.
  • Independently run agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring efficient processes.
  • Work closely with a dedicated design resource to define and refine the product's user interface and experience.
  • Monitor and triage product issues, communicating clear resolution timelines and trade-offs to client-facing teams, and escalating complex issues to senior PMs when necessary.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, refine requirements, and ensure product work aligns with organizational goals.
  • Advocate for your product by attending client or prospect calls and articulating how it solves user challenges.
  • Document user stories, acceptance criteria, and agile artifacts while leveraging user feedback and data to drive continuous improvements.


Requirements

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or a related role, preferably within a tech-driven or SaaS environment.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies, with proven experience in backlog management, agile ceremonies, and roadmap contribution.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with design teams to define and iterate on UI/UX.
  • Proven track record of triaging product issues and effectively communicating resolution strategies to client-facing teams.
  • Ability to advocate for a product by articulating how it addresses user needs and drives value.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to leverage user feedback and data to drive product decisions.
  • Ability to document and articulate product requirements, user stories, and process improvements clearly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the private equity or financial technology sectors.
  • Exposure to advanced analytics or user research techniques.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to embrace new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar software.
  • MBA or advanced finance degree.
