Job summary

Wemolo is redefining parking management with cloud-based, IoT-enabled platform tooling. As Product Manager (all genders) - IoT Platform, you own the cloud and web platform capabilities behind our connected hardware fleet, shaping internal tooling, event-driven logic, and scalable operations.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Customer Success and Product teams to balance technical trade-offs with user needs and business priorities, driving measurable growth.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years owning complex software or platform products end-to-end.
• Strong in backend, cloud and system architecture topics.
• Experience with data-driven product decisions, monitoring and user feedback.
• Experience in platform, SaaS, infrastructure, IoT or hardware-adjacent environments.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a strategic part of our IoT platform end to end from discovery to delivery.
• Define and drive product strategy for operational tooling across configuration, rollout and monitoring.
• Translate internal user pain points into scalable product improvements.
• Own event-driven services such as parking space occupancy and other platform capabilities.
• Ensure platform logic is reliable, observable and scalable for complex use cases.
• Collaborate with Engineering and align across Operations, Product and leadership.

As Product Manager (all genders) - IoT Platform, you will own a critical part of our foundation: the cloud- and web-based platform capabilities behind our connected hardware fleet. Your work will sit at the intersection of internal tooling, event-driven platform logic, and operational scalability.

You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, especially System Performance, Customer Success, Technical Implementation, Installations and other Product & Engineering teams.

What to expect

• Ownership: Own a strategic part of our IoT platform end to end - from discovery and prioritization to delivery and continuous improvement

• Strategy: Define and drive the product strategy for operational tooling across configuration, rollout, monitoring, and fleet operations

• User focus: Understand pain points of internal users across Operations teams and translate them into scalable product improvements

• Platform capabilities: Own event-driven services such as parking space occupancy and other device-derived platform capabilities

• Scalability: Ensure platform logic is reliable, observable, and scalable for increasingly complex and business-critical use cases

• Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering and align across Operations, Product, and leadership to balance technical constraints, user needs, and business priorities

Inspire us by

• Product experience: 3-5 years owning complex software or platform products end-to-end (problem definition to delivery and iteration)

• Technical understanding: Comfortable with backend, cloud, and system architecture topics; able to discuss trade-offs with engineers

• Stakeholder & data skills: Strong in aligning cross-functional teams and making product decisions based on data, monitoring, and user feedback

• Relevant background: Experience in platform, SaaS, infrastructure, operational, IoT, or hardware-adjacent environments (incl. internal tools)

• Architecture knowledge: Familiar with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and technologies like Kafka and MQTT

• Language: Fluent in English (C1+), German is a plus
