Job Overview:

This position is for a Product Manager within the Seal, Protect & Switch team, focusing on the Automotive Heat Shrink Tubing product portfolio.
The Product Manager will lead this portfolio and develop a holistic vision across value drivers with a focus on the EMEA region.
This role involves managing all aspects of the product lines, from new product development to manufacturing, pricing, and marketing. Collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing teams is essential for cross-functional alignment and successful execution of the product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Sensing & Strategy Development

  1. Research market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and competitive landscape across regions. Support go-to-market strategies.
  2. Collaborate with R&D and operations to develop new products meeting current and future customer requirements.
  3. Develop the Product Business Plan.
  4. Manage the product lifecycle through trend analysis.
  5. Assist in developing the annual operating plan (Sales and gross margin).
  6. Work cross-functionally and cross-BU to meet sales, technology, and operational goals aligned with financial targets.

Execution - New Product Development, Launch, Post-Launch

  1. Prepare financial analyses for new product launches and lead PAC discussions for G1 and G2 opportunities.
  2. Gather product specifications and attributes for marketing materials, including e-catalogs.
  3. Contribute to demand forecasting for the S&OP process and support cross-BU S&OP activities.
  4. Perform pricing analyses for catalog updates or special requests.

Global Product Strategy Alignment

  1. Lead and participate in global strategy initiatives.
  2. Drive portfolio decisions to enhance efficiency and margins based on global strategy.
  3. Optimize the global portfolio considering localization, transfers, and product pruning based on customer needs.
  4. Focus on expanding existing portfolio through sales and customer reviews, emphasizing distribution.
  5. Lead innovation discussions based on new market needs and customer requirements.

Background and Requirements:

Position Requirements:

  • Strong business acumen, with good commercial and process understanding.
  • 3+ years of product-oriented experience or 1-3 years in Product Management or Strategy.
  • 4-year technical or business degree required; advanced degree or P&L management experience preferred.
